Former ELITIST Head Honcho Slams EARACHE RECORDS
February 16, 2006Former Elitist Records head honcho/founder Lee Barrett has accused former partners Earache Records of shady business practices and has blamed Earache for indirectly causing the demise of Elitist. Elitist was founded in 2002 as an imprint division of the legendary Earache label. It was solely A&Red by Barrett, the ex-owner of Candlelight Records and the person reportedly responsible for discovering such acts as EMPEROR, OPETH, ENSLAVED and many others.
